Frequently Asked Questions
How does Valid-Mark prevent duplicate QR codes?
Each QR code is cryptographically tied to a unique blockchain hash generated at the moment of issuance. The system prevents collisions by verifying the digital fingerprint of the certification data against the existing ledger before permitting registration.
Is Valid-Mark a certification body?
No. Valid-Mark is an independent Global Registry Authority (GRA). We do not perform audits or issue certificates directly. Our mandate is to provide the high-trust infrastructure that validates and synchronizes data from accredited certification bodies.
Are VRA signatures legally binding?
Yes. Within the framework of the Verified Recognition Arrangement (VRA), signatures and registered hashes are considered legally authoritative evidence of certification status, supported by multilateral recognition agreements between participating signatories.
